The Ultra 45 is suitable for use on carpeted surfaces only when equipped with Microfibre (MF) rollers. The standard blue brushes that come with the unit are not recommended for carpet, as they create excessive friction that can cause the motor protector to engage, reducing performance and RPMs to prevent overheating.
For optimal results and to protect the vacuum motor, the squeegee must be raised or removed completely during carpet cleaning. This prevents dust and carpet debris from entering and damaging the vacuum system.
To ensure safe and effective carpet maintenance, always use Microfibre rollers and keep the squeegee in the up position.
